The Bible says in Matthew 6:24 that the top competitor for our commitment to Jesus is money. Giving allows us to demonstrate that He is more important to us than material things. Not having cash or check on hand doesn’t have to hold you back from giving. You can be obedient today by giving online. There is no organization with more potential to change the world than the local church!

Giving may be the number one way you can put God first in your life. Jesus talked about personal resources that way in Matthew 6:24. In addition to weekly percentage giving (which the Bible calls the tithe), we believe there's no better return on investment than giving to the work of the local church. In Mark 10:29-30, Jesus promised that return would come in this life and in the life to come.
Give — Jesus gave everything for us, and it’s our joy to give back to him in support of the work he is doing here in Palmridge and around the world.

What is Tithing?
A tithe—which just means “tenth”—is defined as the first 10% of a person’s income before taxes or anything else comes out. The Bible says we can take the promises of God to the bank. When we bring our first and best back to God, He promises to bless the rest. We can’t outgive God. We know tithing is a huge step of obedience, but you’re not in this alone!

General Fund:
For many, the idea of bringing the first 10% of our income to the church seems overwhelming. The thing is, it doesn't matter how much or how little we make, God promises to pour out blessings on us when we tithe.
Church Expansion:
Contributions to our church expansion fund will pay for new buildings, improvements, or expansions for our existing church. Our desire for Eagles of Faith Ministry is to have a secure church to grow so people can connect to Jesus and each other.

WHY GIVE?
For us, giving is much more than simply paying bills. There is something deeper to the “why” we give.
Here are 5 main reasons and more we believe our generosity matters:
1. Our generous hearts are a direct response to how generous God has been to us.
2. Generous people can change the lives of people in Palmridge, nationally, and globally.
3. Generosity shows that we truly want to love like Jesus loved and establishes the right priorities in our lives.
4. When we are generous our focus is on helping and serving others.
5. Being generous with what God has blessed us with is an absolute privilege and to be done with a grateful heart. It is an honor that we are invited to participate in this way.
Despite our tendency to shy away from the topic, nearly one quarter of Jesus’ teaching was about money. The truth is that money is morally neutral, but what we do with our money reveals something much deeper — what’s in our hearts (Matthew 6:21). God is the creator and owner of everything, so we are merely stewards of His stuff (1 Chronicles 29:14).
Eagles of Faith Ministry encourages members and regular attenders to follow the Biblical model of giving cheerfully (2 Corinthians 9:7) and sacrificially (Psalm 4:5). Contributing financially to the work of the church out of our “firstfruits” is both a renunciation of greed as an idol and an acknowledgement that all we have been given is given to us by God and is to be used for his purposes (Matthew 25:14-30). It is an expression of worship in response to all that God has done in our midst.
