EAGLES OF FAITH MINISTRY
our history
Eagles of Faith Ministry was founded in 14th /04/2015 with just 5 members, but now we’ve grown to a multitude.
Watch our welcome video for a quick glimpse of who we are.
Our history — Learn more about who we are, what we believe as a church, and who we partner with to see Jesus’ mission fulfilled.
For better or for worse, what you believe shapes your life. The more your beliefs line up with reality—the way things really are—the more you find fulfillment, purpose, and joy in the world. Our church believes the only truth that brings lasting fulfillment, clear purpose, and true joy is this: God made all people to glorify him and enjoy him forever. God made us for himself, and our hearts are restless until they rest in him.
If you want to see how that belief has shaped our church community, we encourage you to join us for one of our Sunday gatherings.
We are glad to make available our full statement of history in written form. Or, if you would like to know more about Jesus or our church, you can always contact us directly.
Eagles of Faith Ministry
Why an Eagle/ What is an aspect of God on animals?
1.Eagles fly alone and at high altitudes:
-
They don’t fly with sparrows, ravens, and other small birds.
2. Eagles have an accurate vision:
-
They have an ability to focus on something as far as 5km away.
-
No matter the obstacles, the eagle will not move his focus from prey until it grabs it.
3. Eagles do not eat dead things. They feed only on fresh prey:
-
Eagles uses the strength to fish from the sea.

4. Eagles Love the storm:
-
When clouds gather, the eagles gets excited, the eagle uses the storms wind to lift itself higher.
-
Once it finds the wind of the storm, the eagle locks its wings to brave the storm and uses the raging storm to lift itself above the clouds.
-
This gives the eagle an opportunity to glide and rest its wings.
-
In the meantime, all other birds hide in the branches and leaves of the tree.
5. Eagles prepare for training:
-
They remove the feathers and soft grass in the nest so that the young ones get uncomfortable in preparation for flying and eventually flies/ when it becomes unbearable to stay in the nest.
-
Eagles pick its eagles on its back and takes them so high above the clouds…. Then turns on its back dropping the eaglets in order to train them how to fly.
-
And one by one the eagle picks them up before they hit the ground.
-
In fear the eaglets finally know how to fly.

6. When the Eagles grow:
-
It’s feathers becomes weak and cannot take it as fast and as high as it should
-
This makes it weak and could make it die.
-
So it retires to a place far away in the mountains.
-
While there, it plucks out the weak feathers on its body and its beaks and claws against the rocks until it is completely bare; a very bloody and painful process.
-
Then it stays in this hiding place until it has grown new feathers, new beaks and claws and then it comes out flying higher than before

EAGLES OF FAITH MINISTRY HISTORY
Over two years of Ministry
Eagles of Faith Ministry has been a fixture in Palmridge, Johannesburg for more than 2 years. Located near Pheasant Folly primary school in Extension 9 Palmridge, Eagles of Faith Ministry is centrally located in the Katlehong area, attracting people from all parts of Johannesburg. More than the convenient location, people are drawn to Eagles of Faith Ministry because it’s a place where people from any ethnic or economic background can experience the life changing power of God’s good news.
Small Beginnings
From our small beginnings in 2015 — a small shack placed at Ext 7 Palmridge near Thokoza — to our present location at 14957 ext 9 Palmridge Katlehong 1458, Eagles of Faith Ministry has ministered to thousands of people over the years. The church was officially organized as a Prophetic Ministry in 2014 under Pastor/Prophet Macknolt M Skhosana, and our first building/shack where we first fellowshiped was at Ext 7 Palmridge. We moved into a brand new facility on the corner of 14957 Ext 9 Palmridge in 2016 with Pastor Macknolt M Skosana, and A. Khumalo our second pastor.
Leading Us Forward
On April 6, 2016, one of the most damaging tornadoes cut through the church property, severely damaging the church. The church was rebuilt later that same year and was expanded to seat 100 people in the sanctuary. It also included nursery and toddler facilities among many other renovations. Since then we have been served/visited by a number of amazing men and women of God, each bringing growth to the personality and character of Eagles of Faith Ministry.
