EAGLES OF FAITH MINISTRY
CALVARY KIDS
WHAT IS CALVARY KIDS?
Every Sunday all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand that we do not allow them into the service designed for adults and students (6th grade and older).
We would love to see you and your family visit Calvary Kids at Eagles of Faith Ministry this Sunday. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!
How Check-In Works
You may check in your child at any available station. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s last name and identification code will appear on the screen in the auditorium. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room. (pending)
WHAT WE VALUE
Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.
Relationships
We value children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their leader and other kids in the group. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.
Age-Appropriateness
Our environments and lesson materials are created in a way your child will understand. We are so passionate about kids learning this way that we do not allow them into the service designed for adults and students 6th grade and older.
Safety
Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check, and every hallway is monitored by security personnel. (pending)
Fun!
Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting.

CHILDREN AND STUDENTS
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Preschool to High School
Our Eagles Power House ministries include children and students ages 0-18, preschool through high school. In all these ministries, we have the same mission: To build and grow relationship between God and Man. Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process. We do this in many ways, but especially through the various resources that we create. These resources help build a strong, gospel-centered foundation for their kids.
Preschool (Birth-K)
In our Preschool ministry, we strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ. During the weekends, in Eagles Calvary Kids, we sing, dance and teach the Bible to the kids, focusing on our five foundational truths: God made everything, God is in charge of everything, God is good, Jesus came to save sinners, and God wants to talk with us.
Elementary (1st-5th)
In our Elementary ministry, we work to continue building up a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We do this by teaching our kids about the nature and character of God—that He is wise, generous, loving and good. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by creating environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ. On the weekends, in Eagles Calvary Kids, we worship through song, tell stories from the Bible and gather in small groups by age to talk about Scripture together.
Middle School (6th - 8th)
In our Middle School ministry, we seek to increase that strong, gospel-centered foundation in our students through learning and studying the Word of God and living out biblical community in small groups. Middle school is where our students get their first experience of what group life is like within the church. Our hope is to partner with parents in helping students go deeper with each other, their leaders and, most importantly, God. This ministry looks a little different at each division, but what we seek to accomplish is the same.
High School (9th - 12th)
In our High School ministry, we seek to keep building gospel maturity in our students and help them grow in deeper relationships with each other, their leaders and, most importantly, the Lord. On a weekly basis, our students meet in small groups that are broken up by age and gender and, sometimes, location to learn and study God’s Word and to foster biblical community at a young age. Our High School ministry is part of Groups ministry. It looks a little different at each division, but what we seek to accomplish is the same.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Check-in
When you arrive, our friendly kids ministry team will greet you and check-in your children at any one of our check-in kiosks. After you’re familiar with the process of checking in, you’ll be able to handle this process yourself through our automated self check-in.
Safety
Keeping your children safe and secure is our top priority. Every child is given a check-in tag that is matched with the parent’s identification number. All of our children’s volunteers are screened with an interview and federal background check and we have security personnel that monitors the exits and hallways.
Parent Resources
On your way home, ask your kids what they learned. We provide resources for parents to follow up with their kids on the memory verses and curriculum we are teaching. Through verse memorization and fun, follow-up quizzes, King’s Kids can earn points and win prizes each week.

BACKPACK BLESSING
School can be a fun, yet scary time for our children. It can be awesome, but it can also be tough. We're sending students and educators back to school with prayer and blessing.
We will have a time of prayer during the morning worship service Sunday.
Students and educators are encouraged to bring their backpacks to service to be blessed.
